Feast, the multi cuisine restaurant of Sheraton Grand in Pune is taking it up a notch by introducing an unique concept in their buffet.
They have a special cuisine throughout the week, Sushi & Tempura delights on Wednesdays,Persian treats on Fridays and Spanish cuisine on Saturdays.
The Spanish cuisine was fantastic with some authentic dishes from Spain.
Crema de queso was a hot cheese soup which was the ideal start to the evening . The soup had a mild yet soothing flavour of cheese, which gave it a very unique and creamy taste.
The starters were quite filling and almost left no space for mains. The Tamalese Pollo was great with the flavour of the herbs and crisp breadcrumbs texture.
Torte De Marised is a must have for people who like eggs. Fluffy eggs stuffed with a blend of mixed seafood, absolutely delicious.
The prawns wrapped in basil was a different dish and gave a contrasting effect to the dish. The basil added favour to the mildly spiced prawns.
The Paella is a traditional dish from Spain with consist of seafood tossed in rice. The dish had strong flavours and the fresh squids and prawns just added to the flavours.
The mains consisted of Fish Miller which was tossed in a sweet and sour sauce and had a crunch to it. The dish went well with Carne Guisada which was a tenderloin steak cooked in sherry vinegar.
The desserts section is one of the reasons i would love to visit Sheraton at any given chance.
The churros were crisp and served in a heavenly rich chocolate sauce.
The other dessert consisted of flan which is a milk based custard and Spanish almond cake which had roasted almonds.
The Spanish cheese cake was so sinful and delicious that I just couldn’t stop with one.
