Wynkk, the lounge.

Pune will be the capital of restaurants in the near future with the way the scene is coming up,  with so many restaurants opening left, right and center, how do you make your establishment stand out.  According to us it’s only food,  the decor, ambiance, location, music, vibes come in much later.

If the food is outstanding, people don’t mind travelling for it, queuing for it.

When The Wynkk Lounge opened in Range Hills recently near E square, we were invited for a review, we were expecting another lounge opening to a never-ending list of lounges in Pune but we were wrong here.

First impression as you enter is the decor which is very retro and chic,  the music was to our liking which very few places in Pune play,  that is Retro.

As soon as we made ourselves comfortable,  the manager asked for our preferences for dinner, we decided to go with his and he did not disappoint at all.

To quench our thirst we were served Non Alcoholic Mojito and BlackBerry Slush, amazing and outstanding, set the tempo for the night ahead.

The highlight was
Matka Kebabs, succulent juicy pieces of  chicken cooked in a Matka oozing of flavor and cheese, divine.

Main course was the Kheema Pav,  excellent.

Prawns Khau Swey was another winner,  Khau Swey can’t be cooked by everyone, you need to get it right. This was right.

Overall our experience states we could go to this place only for the food since it is so good ,  the decor,  vibe and service is an additional bonus.
