International Institute of Hotel Management is one of the finest and renowned institutions of India, year after year they create such fine students, masters of cooking and true chefs.
To showcase the college and the student’s talent they host a yearly International Food Festival which is in its 4th year now.
This year they decided with the Carnival of 7 wonders where they showcased cuisines from America like slow braised chicken, BBQ potatoes fries, China had Cantonese style chicken, baby corn, schezwan fried rice. Brazil had grilled tuna, Feijoda. Indian had Pahadi kebabs, Malai kebabs, Gosht Rara, Paneer Kadhai. Italian had Penne Romano. Egypt had a Salad counter. French had grilled Basa with tyhyme infused garlic butter Rosemary baked jacket potatoes and finally desserts were Date and Walnut roll, Gulab jamun shots, red velvet, chocolate cannelloni. The spread was endless.
The students had prepared for this event since last 3 months, the efforts, passion, dedication showed and it was really an honour for us to be a witness to the event.
Dr SUBORNO BOSE Founder And Mentor of IIHM must be a very proud man because this event was a roaring success.
They are hosting the world’s biggest Olympiad for culinary students, a platform where 67 top students chef from 67 countries will be participating in New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata from Jan 26 to 31 in 2016.
Dr SUBORNO BOSE and Mr Khurana, Director of IIHM are very excited for the Olympiad and so are we.

It is a culinary competition which is organized by the International Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata, every year since 2011. With support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government Of India, it aims at spotting budding talent at the high school level.
