A very interesting Concept which refers to the stages of production of food starting from harvesting to consumption. It is associated with sustainable and community supported agriculture and attempts to educate the customers about the link between farmers, farm communities and the food we eat. In the last few years, farm-to-table maneuver has grown rapidly all over the world.
Speaking about the initiative Chef Ajmal Salim, Executive Chef, JW Marriott Hotel Pune said, “This concept is internationally popular but a very new concept in India where our aim is to serve each guest the food, in its freshest form possible. The food served to the guests will be freshly produced from the farms, each day. The whole idea is to keep the dishes and the eating experience as close to nature as possible”.
